1. Oh yeah, it rains here (just thundered lightly) but it's usually short and torrential.
This, at least here, is a nice medium shower. Very happy-making.

2. My dear KeepItReal!
We call it "liquid sunshine!"

It is most agreeable...

I love the sound of it on my roof...

It makes me feel all cozy and safe and warm...

14. It is raining to beat HELL in the SF Valley right now
Has been for the past 20+ minutes.

I'm talking rain in sheets. You'd be hard pressed to see your hand in front of your face. And there's thunder and lightning!

We're easily getting more rain right now than we did in the past 12 months total.

I LOVE IT!!!! :woohoo:

17. Before yesterday
Only one inch has fallen in the region since July 2006, with the winter being the driest in recorded L.A. history.

I'd say that "it never rains" is fairly accurate.

As welcome as this one is, it has also been sporadic. We need it to be sustained.

18. Uh, the rest of the lyrics: "It pours, man, it pours"
I'm loving the hell out of this. All the windows are open, and I'm having a wonderful, mellow day listening to the rain--for the first time in MONTHS. We need this so much, and it makes for a quiet, peaceful way to spend an afternoon.
