my car was hauled away on a flatbed towtruck. Somehow it got the idea that payday was coming. NEXT FRIDAY. It's in Columbus at a repair shop and I was lucky to have kind people rehearsing with me tonight. Someone went 10 miles out of their way to take me home. :(

I need to do some laundry and figure out how I'm going to pay for a car repair.

Tomorrow will be better. Right?

and this is the "new" car. The old Honda leaks oil, so I'll be filling it up before I drive it tomorrow. Sigh.

Cracked overflow "container". Apparently common in Fords. $150. It could be worse, but it's still going to be tough finding the money before payday next Friday.

Still, having to pay for car repairs is THE WORST. The darn things cost so much to begin with, you shouldn't have to keep putting money into them. I've had to put about $1700 into my car this year.

I hope it's easier to pay for than you thought and your weekend is better than Thursday was.

Last year, I put nearly $3000 into my 1994 Accord. Transmission, ball joints, brakes, two tires. The only good thing was that it was paid for. I've only made 4 payments on the Ford.

Left wrist is one huge blister, about the size of a fifty cent piece; right arm is still raw and red and I had to soak the bandage off this morning but they seem to be healing and the pain has subsided quite a bit. Thanks for asking and good luck with the car. :hug:
