13. Her "second opinion" apparently wasn't one after all.

It was a colleague of the doctor who did the diagnosis, and since they work closely together it was more of a collaboration than separate examinations.

She may have to go to Houston to a specialist they've been telling her about- it's a matter of insurance, natch.

So there's always a ray of sunlight ready to burn through the clouds, if given just a little wish and a prayer.
