Missing all my friends in the fitness forum
I know I totally slacked off there for a while and wasn't posting, but now I'm back, and those of you who left because no one was there.... please come back.

I miss you all.

1. I'll join up
I have an eliptical machine that is becoming an art object. I can't let that happen.

:)

I love to run, but I don't think I have a marathon in me. (At least not while I'm carrying this much extra weight.)

Of course you can join. Drop in and say hello.

I post there whenever I work out.

Others share fitness tips, equipment tips, etc.

10. Just take it slowly
and work up to it. Try a 5K, then a 10K, then a half. You'll get to a full marathon eventually. And the smaller ones, like St Louis, have LOTS of support and great people running in them who arent trying to break records, just finish.

11. I've done both a 5K and a 10K
honestly, I don't think I have a marathon in me unless I lose 50 lbs. MAYBE a 1/2 marathon... but that's a big maybe.

12. You can do it!
The biggest motivation is to sign up for one. Then tell your friends and family about it. You wont want to let them down!
