Since others seem to feel being "outraged" over stickies is okay - I'm offended by the dog.

Some of just don't like dogs in general, they bring up memories of bad experiences, and besides, Nazis used dogs, as well as homophobes, racists, and red-state citizens; and as a screaming out of control liberal who believes in equal rights for everyone and the absoluteness of free speech - except words and images that offend me personally - I demand it be taken down because I am righteously outraged, and that it be lumped into the category of "evil evil evil awful stickies that make feel bad" with the other offensive stickies.

You can either agree with me, or tell me to grow the hell up and get on with my life.

Speaking personally, I'd prefer if you chose the latter.

3. Dogs can sniff out cancer, can warn you before you have an epileptic seizure,
can help you if you are blind. If you are confined to a wheelchair, they can even open the fridge to get you a beer.

They don't complain, love you whatever, snuggle up when you are cold...

It all depends on the experiences a dog had. Dogs can be mean, but it is usually the owners fault.

I am sorry that you hate dogs. Maybe you haven't met the right one?

8. Shit. I am kinda slow today. Long day...
we are planning a wedding and my brain is completely fried.

If I don't get sarcasm anymore, I really should take a break :)

Thanks, LostinVa!

13. Congrats!!! I am reading lots of posts on DU and remembering that.
I am not posting too much, though.

I hope you have a wonderful wedding.

We just had my sister-in-law deputized today so she can perform the ceremony. We didn't want any formal stuff. Just friends and family and jeans and shorts.

:hi:

23. Wow. That is quite a bit to take care off.
We moved to CA two years ago (from TX and OK). He found a job in CA and I moved with him. I had to look for a job once we got here.

It was the best thing ever.

Good luck to you and your SO!!! :hi:

7. They can attack and rip the faces off children, or just kill them outright;
they can poop on my lawn or even in my shoe; they can chew up my shit; they can bark all goddamn night.

And some of them can handle sarcasm better than some people I know. :P

17. I've seen it on TV on Discovery Health.
They put a rope on the refrigerator door, so the dog can open the door. However, I remember the dog getting a soda or juice can. My first thought was WTF...the dog doesn't know the difference between soda and beer.

I didn't see how they trained the dog. I bet it takes quite a while. But think about the reward...

Seems like a lot of trouble for a beer.
