4. Made a co-worker think that one of his ex-booty calls wanted to get back with him
No name, no number, left a typewritten note (I signed it "You know who") and a bottle of cologne for him.

You should have seen the sparks flying when he started making phone calls to women that never wanted to speak to him again.

TO THIS DAY, the fucker does not know who did it to him. He'll go to his grave never knowing.

What he gets for pissing me off.

Fuck with the Scorpio... Get the sting.

Both actions were mean, but they were necessary.

Edited on Tue Aug-14-07 06:53 PM by Rabrrrrrr
at a baseball game once when he made a bad call.

I felt awful about it, and I still do.

I'm sure I'm the only one who's ever spoken so inappropriately and derogatorily to a sports official. I am probably on some kind of professional sports shitlist now and would be refused access to a game because of my totally unpredictable nature.

8. A family friend's son made a comment about the umpire being blind
At his sister's Little League baseball game.
His mother told him that he shouldn't say something like that.
"But mom, he is actually blind. That's why he wears thick glasses and doesn't have a driver's license," he said.
It turned out that the umpire was actually legally blind but was able to call strikes.

9. Moved my platoon leader's office into the latrine
Chief Henning was 61 years old and his bladder didn't work quite right, so he spent most of his time in the latrine.

So one fine afternoon when he was out drilling his way into Lockout Thurlow's field safe (Lockout Thurlow was a second lieutenant who liked to change the combination on his safe then shut the door without testing the combination first. By the time Colonel McGuinness took pity on him and moved him to the 311th, he'd managed to lock himself out of five field safes, two office safes and the 1st Brigade arms room--which is WHY he was moved to the 311th MI, because the 1st Brigade commander was going to kill him. Lockout Thurlow was the first man in the history of the 101st Airborne to spend his entire hitch as a second lieutenant.) we moved his entire office to the latrine.

29. Speaking of paint...
We had a moran in the 209th MI who was told by the first sergeant to paint his room "any color in the supply room."

Top forgot that I was getting ready to paint all the deuce-and-a-halves in the battalion and had ordered three cases of black just for that reason. Oops.

for killing a woman and leaving her little two year old waiting for her in the house.

They were on suicide watch so I had to check on em every 15 minutes - I made sure to wake em to see if they were ok (and I worked third shift) :)

They are serving life terms now. Hope they rot in hell.

14. I encouraged a coworker to put an unfortunate photo on Hotornot.com.
Was it mean to suggest she put her trashy drunk photos on the internet? Probably, but she didn't have to do it and certainly didn't have to send the link around the office.

I voted not hot. I am not ashamed. :)

15. I have a couple....

About 10 years ago I worked in a laid back warehouse environment and we had unsupervised access to the internet. One of the guys was always on online dating services, so I created a fake email address and registered on this site as someone he would be interested in. We went back and forth for weeks, he was bragging to everyone about this new girl he had (everyone else was in on the joke). A few weeks went by and I happened to be leaving the job so I spent a week really working this guy up to meet this perfect girl and then dropped the bomb on him, needless to say he was pretty angry and I was glad I left the job.

But that is not the bad one...

I worked on the movie Armagedden for about a month or so and was getting some equipment from a hotel when the co-worker I was with was asked to deliver something to Bruce Willis. He took the package but was going to throw it away when I suggested we open it to see what it was. The hotel worker had given us a self addressed stamped envelope with some 8x10's of Bruce and a letter asking him to sign the pictures and send them back.
Well Bruce is a busy guy so I went ahead and autographed the pictures for him.
Some of the pictures were screenshots from movies that had other actors, so I signed for them too.
Finally I wrote the guy a nice letter thanking him for being a fan, blah, blah, blah, and mailed everything off.

I still wonder if this guy has these pictures and letter thinking he got them from Bruce Willis.

21. I requested that a temporary worker be let go.
He was going to injure or kill himself. He tried to disassemble a tube type truck tire rim assembly with 100 pounds of air in it. He never wore a belt at work and dressed in the "sagging pants" style. Unfortunately when you are rolling a 150 pound tire mounted on a 200 pound testing rim you need both hands. I asked him all week to please wear a belt or get some work type clothing.
Finally I had to go to our manager and ask that he find something else for the kid to do. Of course the fact that this kid would sleep anytime he sat down didn't motivate the boss to keep him on doing something else.

23. Funny Story
Back as an undergrad, before the Internet, we discussion forums on the university computer system. (A VAX cluster) It was only for people on campus.

My username, for a while, was the Faery Godmother. I was a well known volunteer in a lot of organizations, I was very Out, and I had a reputation for helping people with all kinds of stuff.

One of the women on campus posted a message to the Faery Godmother saying that this guy was sexually harassing women on campus. He liked to walk beind any woman in a mini-skirt when they walked up stairs and look up their skirts. He "flirted" to the point where women were afraid of him.

Well... Three of us (myself, a drag queen friend of mine, and another friend of mine) all dressed up in drag, including little micro-mini skirts and showed up at his dorm room. We knocked, he answered, and we let ourselves in. We teased and flirted unmercifully. He climbed the furniture and hid in the corner to stay away from us while we laughed and teased and flirted some more. Within 5 minutes he was swearing, SWEARING at the top of his lungs that he knew that what he did had been wrong and he'd never do it again. Ever.

He kept that promise for at least the next 2 years he was on campus too. I knew many other people who knew him, and I saw him frequently on campus, and the Faery Godmother never heard another complaint about him ever again.

As an aside: His roommate was a fundamentalist christian. That roommate was convinced that only someone with true evil in his soul could possibly do something bad enough to summon the "perverted, evil, harpies of hell": into their dorm room. He stayed someplace else that night and moved out the next day.

:)

By not answering the door when he came to pick her up, per her request. It was a nasty thing to do and I still feel bad about it. Especially since I still see the guy occasionally (fortunately he's happily married with a child) and feel guilty every time our paths cross.

Edited on Thu Aug-16-07 09:07 AM by QMPMom
She was in the hospital (Again. She was a frequent flyer.) and attempting to get attention and convince us to cancel our vacation to see my parents the next week. I found out about her latest stunt and went to the hospital and unloaded on her. Loudly.

Shocked the shit out of the old bitch that her son agreed with me and told her so that evening after he got off work.

Oh yeah, the day it happened also happened to be her birthday.
