New iMac
Still the best industrial design in America. Agree or disagree?

2. I was a little underwhelmed with the update.
I was really tempted to sell my Intel iMac last week and buy the one released today. I'm actually glad I didn't.

The new iMovie does look really slick.

3. Yes, the new machine is slick
It builds off of an already great design, updating it with Apple's new design direction shown with the iPhone. It's a safe bet that the next updates of the Apple Cinema Displays will use the same aluminum and black finish (though hopefully with a non-reflective display - the glossy display is the only thing I don't like about the update).

Sigh. Don't tell my other Macs I have a crush on this one. :P

5. very nice looking but not for me
:(

My setup is too advanced for an all in one unit. I do pro audio and need multiple PCI slots and displays. Unfortunately I've been waiting in vain for the Mac Pro desktops to become affordable and that's not happening anytime soon. I waited for the G5s to come down in the used/refurbished market and then the Intel Core Macs came along and instantly made them an obsolete model.
