Poll question: I intend to spend Saturday drinking myself into oblivion
Edited on Thu Aug-02-07 08:28 PM by mycritters2
Not being a huge drinker, I'm going to use something I like the taste of.

Should I use

4. Good point. I'd be inebriated and healthy
That's what I call "drinking responsibly".

3. Aren't you an, uhhhhh
pastor or reverend or something (I could be wrong, and if I am, I am REALLY sorry)? Because if you are, it would totally kick ass to get smashed on the Communion wine. That would be SO funny.

That's what I'd do. They'd need to lock up the Holy Liquor.

I'm going to hell, aren't I? Yeah...thought so.

6. Yes, I am
but we use Mogen David for communion (because it's kosher, which my deacons think is important). Have you ever tasted Mogen David?

As to whether you're going to hell..happily, I'm not the Decider.

10. Not only
have I never tasted Mogen David, I have NO idea who he is.

I'm glad that you're not the Decider. I'm hoping The Big Guy doesn't watch what I do/say here.

Wait...the decider...isn't that...EEEK!!!

13. Actually, I'd be a pretty good Decider
Edited on Thu Aug-02-07 08:49 PM by mycritters2
I'd certainly let you in. But there are some I wouldn't. Which is why it's just as well I'm not.

Oh, and Mogen (or Magen)=Hebrew for "star". Hence, Mogen David = Star of David.

16. Well, pass along
your sentiments to Big Dawg. I can use all the votes I can get.

I'd be a lousy Decider. I'd let them all in. Then I'd re-smite those I didn't like.

17. Usually I'd let everyone in.
I'm feeling a wee-bit vengeful tonight. I'd keep at least two people out. But I'd make 'em stand right outside the gate, where they could see what they were missing. And every once in a while, I'd go over and say "Come on in! We're havin' a party! Oh, that's right. You can't. What a shame."

See why it's good I'm not the decider?

9. I would agree with screwdrivers...
...less potential for a skull-buster hangover than the other options... (remember to drink a bit of water along the way)...

Regarding your reference to Mogen David...I drank a rather large bottle of MD 20/20 on my 18th birthday...Worst. Hangover. Ever...

Be safe...

:D

do you conduct services the following sunday?
If you do I would suggest sticking with dry white wine, or put some vodka in the freezer and do shots.

12. Which do you not want to even get a whiff of for some time afterward?
'Cuz that'll be the last time you enjoy it for a while.

15. Good points
I once got sick, from stomach flu, after eating some Mexican food. Wasn't the food's fault, but I couldn't eat such stuff for years afterwards. I'll consider your advice carefully.
