Including "to get rid of a headache", so ye olde excuse has been flushed forever.

2. Freepers have sex. It is our Constitutional duty to outbreed them.
It's for Freedom itself. ;-)

6. Well, I Was Willing
Because I'm flat broke...and, being asexual anyway, I don't want sex. The very idea is actually repulsive to me. I know, that's going to sound strange to some people, but we are out there...people who are honestly repelled and grossed out by sex.

7. You may be less alone than you think.
There was an interesting story by Theodore Sturgeon, in which one character pondered our societal obsession with bumping uglies. He came to an interesting conclusion, but I don't remember it well enough to do it justice. Read all of his work, as it always touched upon the human condition.

8. one third of women aren't interested in sex?

9. Well
I am one of that 1/3. Not interested in sex, period. Good, bad, or otherwise. I'm actually disgusted by the concept of sex.

I think this has a lot to do with two factors.

One, having been sexually molested in my youth.
Two, growing up in the 80's when sex education was all about how AIDS killed, and could not be cured, and the message basically became "sex=death" and totally scared the crap out of me.

I don't know what sex education is like today, but I sure hope they are not subjecting our young'uns to the horrors of 1980's-style sex education.

10. that's understandable

I had sex education in the mid '90s and they weren't scaring us by then. They talked about contraception as much as they talked about stds. I'm just not interested in sex when I feel like that's all the guy wants from me. It's a terrible feeling.

12. Yeah
Lucky you that you didn't have 80's-style sex education where about the only thing they talked about was STD's...and the message became "sex=death" and literally it was llike the underlying message was that every sexual encounter led to an STD...particularly AIDS, which just killed you, and there was no cure. They scared the crap out of us. I wonder how many others were permanently damaged from this sort of teaching in their most impressionable years.

What I know now, intellectually, makes no difference, it is still in my gut.

14. You try having sex with a headache sometime.
I really hate it when these threads are posted. People around here start showing their true colors re: attitudes about sex and sexuality and they are not pretty.

15. I've had a few migraines in my time, and never got frisky to change them.
You could consider this an opportunity to create a dialogue with others...

16. Me neither.
I can't do anything when I'm having a migraine, much less that. For me, the only cure for a migraine is to sleep it off.

Just say no if you mean no.
