More like the last ten years. This bizarre deal with cashiers that, when doling out change, they lay the bills in your palm and put the change on top. I swear they're being taught to do that. Like some corporate goon is telling them "It gives the customer a feeling of personal contact".

No. It doesn't. It pisses me off. It's awkward as hell to close my hand over that crap. I hate it when they do that.
