1. That's damned fast. I do 3 miles in 45 minutes. I'm 66.

On edit: I'm doing Nordic walking, so may be a bit faster than regular.

I reckon I can walk a mile in about 10 minutes, so that'd be 6mph. Would doubtless get slower after the first few miles though, I'm sure.

I don't remember my exact rate but I think 5 mph sounds about right.
