PLEASE HELP! I lost my wallet and can't get home

I came to minnesota yesterday. I am in Mankato visiting my grandmother and I lost my wallet (including my ID)
Which means I will not be able to get on the plane Monday. In order to get a new license I have to be in Texas
where I live and all my documents are. Unless they can find my wallet (which I know I left at the checkout at Cubs Foods)
I am stuck here until whenever. I am scared and pissed off.

No photo id, not even a credit card with my name on it. I do not see how they will let me fly.

You might even be able to call the DPS and let them know. We had to get my husband's replaced from Ohio before.

12. UPDATE: Turned out to be much ado about NOTHING

I feel utterly stupid. The good news is I found my wallet but not until after about 6 hours of drama. It was, in fact, in the only place in the rental car I had not checked, which was the compartment beneath the center arm rest.

I cannot possible explain how embarrassed I feel right now to have panicked for essentially no reason. I appreciate all the advice I was able to see. In fact I could have gotten on the plane. The man at TSA said it should be okay as long as I had my old boarding passes, which I did. But for some reason I hit full-blown panic mode where nothing makes any sense at all and reason goes right out the window.

In my defense I was down here visiting my grandmother in a nursing home and it was kind of sad and stressful. I am sure I will talk more about that later when I am home.

I figured I'd lost it somewhere between the office and the parking garage but it had slipped between the seat and door on the passenger side of the car. R E L I E F, and suddenly I could breathe better. :bounce: I am happy you found it.

Losing your wallet is a very scary thing.

My husband and I were driving from Ohio to Texas to visit his parents, and we got to Indiana and needed gas. My husband could not find his wallet with the only debit card it in. All we had was a check book. So, after rifling through everything packed in the truck, we pull off the interstate and into a gas station. My husband was going to call his parents and tell them we had to go back home to get the wallet, which by this time he is positive he left on the coffee table. So, I'm sitting in the car while my husband goes to the pay phone and 30 seconds later he comes over and taps my window with his wallet. It was in his athletic pants in the front pocket. He felt it hitting his leg when he was walking to the phone, and because he wasn't used to wearing them, he wasn't used to the very deep pockets.

We laugh now, but I was not relishing pushing the truck all the way back to Ohio.
