I pretty much despise all of them, though a couple (like "BRB") are pretty convenient rather than typing a phrase longhand. But a few stick in my craw:

LOL- who really laughs out loud when surfing? Unless it's the Dramatic Prairie Dog, I don't think I've LOL'ed that much while online.

IBTL- I hate this one with a passion. When a saucy thread pops up, what makes people feel the need to post this? No shit you're in before the lock. If you weren't, you wouldn't be here, you fucking dolt. Contribute something of substance.
