1. I had sedatiion dentistry.
Totally painless.

It was like floating, with everything dark.

Pick a good place to go.

I had 4 wisdom teeth and one tooth removed.

It was the only way to go.

2. It sounds like the way to go for me.
I'm gonna call this guy tomorrow.

How did you find your sedation dentist?

3. I had a friend who worked in a Dental Office and she said this sedation dentist was very good.
He was.

5. Sounds better and better.
I went to this dentist here. Told the receptionist that I am phobic when I made the appointment. She said "Lots of people are scared, honey. We understand." So, I thought that was good.

I get to the appointment, admit to the dentist that I don't go as often as I should, that I'm scared and I know my teeth aren't in great shape. He rolls his eyes and says "Well, if you don't take care of your teeth, you'll be sorry." I wasn't sure what to make of that. Then he does the exam, and refers me to another guy to do a root canal (I had one root canal in Iowa, and my regular dentist did it). I don't think he really got my fear. He wasn't mean, just unresponsive.

And gathering up my courage to go to someone else for the root canal doesn't help. So, my secretary says she will only have sedation dentistry, and describes it. It sounds EXACTLY like what I need. But the dentist I went to is the only one in town in my PPO. So, I do a quick check of the PPO website and find someone in a town about 10 miles away that lists "oral and IV sedation" among the services he offers.

I keep hearing about how good it is. I'm going to try it.

And now, it's bedtime. I'm rambling!
