An mp3 mix using Dean's Iowa speech.

1. I'm telling ya, if it takes off...it's going to propel him right to the
front of the race again...

NPR said this morning they were playing this in Australia.....

Word to Dean, get yourself on Letterman, ASAP....

4. Dean has cracked

I never thought of him as being unhinged until this.
I hope he can recover from it.

5. I'd be interested to see that same sentiment from just ONE person who was
in the room when he gave that speech. It's funny, but they all thought it was a great motivational speech, totally in step with the energy of the crowd (especially since dean was hoarse from campaigning all day).

It might be fun to Monday-morning quarterback these things. It might be easy to eliminate the context and just judge the speech in a vacuum.

It's a bit premature, however, to assume he's "unhinged"...especially since not one of the people in the room at the time seems to think so (or has not, at least, expressed that here or anyplace else public).

6. I couldn't disagree more.
As the Joker said: "This town needs an enema." I imagine that *'s bowels ran a little loose when he realized that Dean is NOT who his (*'s) handlers think he is. He is the LAST person the administration wants to face in the election. Dean is angry, yes, but god dammit, it's about time someone showed some fucking emotion in this thing!

I WANT a president to be passionate, and to be unafraid to show that passion. I DUG the speech and I want it to be played again. Who gives a shit that some -- like you, apparently -- will ridicule him for it.

PASSION IS LACKING IN OUR GOVERNMENT. Nearly everyone on Capitol Hill is a fucking robot.

Wake the hell up, people!
