My daughter had her high school grad tonight
She brought along me, my fiance (CraftyGal), my ex-wife (ie. her mother), the ex's boyfriend and another daughter.

Between us we had 5 cameras - lucky I brought a pocket full of batteries.

Oddly, I was one of the few people there in a tux (helps to own one).

CraftGal wasn't sure what to make of the food fight.

Is that a tradition? Did they serve food at this graduation? The thought is making me giggle!

On edit: please tell her, "Congratulations!" please! You must be so proud! :hi:

2. It's a family tradition
The first time I went over to visit the ex-wife's folks (ie. back in the girlfriend days) her father thought I seemed tense and upset so when her mother said "pass me a roll", he took it literally. She responded with mashed potatoes. Chaos ensued.

Tonight at grad supper I totally innocently ( WITHOUT warning CraftyGal), said "could somebody throw me some butter". The graduate broke it up just as I was reaching for the potatoes - we'd already used up most of the bread, sugar packets and coffee creamer containers.
