26. I fussed at my husband because he took the right side, and that was "my" side.

Now that 50% of our kids have moved out, we have separate rooms (snoring and reading in bed issues). I noticed not too long ago that the dog has my husband's side of the bed and I stick to the left side.

In my current bed I seem to sleep on the right side, too (no matter what, I tend to sleep consistently on one side or the other, depending on the room, and it's kind of weird how we do that -- rather than sleep0ing in the middle and having the whole bed -- even years after splitting with a partner).

Of course, maybe it wouldn't be such a bad thing if we both slept on the same side. ;-)

I switch around all the time--left, right, bottom, top, diagonal. I'll fall asleep in whichever spot/position causes my back the least pain on any given night.
