Another belt loop
Well I am down to my FIFTH hole on my belt now. I bought this thing a little over a month ago and I have gone down two whole belt loops since then. I couldn't believe that I needed to go to the next one until I realized that I was constantly having to pull up my pants when I stood up from my desk.

40 pounds lost since Jan.30th (sounds great but I was clearly badly out of shape Jan. 29th and before)

My wife has dropped 23 pounds since last October.

We are going to an organic farmer's market (yes the farmers are organic too! ) tomorrow because we just don't trust any of the food companies anymore. Grass fed beef steaks-not just whole sides of beef. Gee guess who has been on the DU waaaaaaay too long? :bounce:

Anyway. Still training for the Richmond marathon in November. I am back running every morning (at FIVE!! :eyes: ) and everything feels great (knock on wood).

I counted up the running daily tally on my office desk calendar-I did about 6,750 situps last month.

:wow:

7. Hang in there
I truly believe there is such a thing as an endorphin high. Way back when I was running 1,200 miles a year, I'd take off for a ten or 15 miler and it felt fantastic. And a great way to keep the fat off. One downside, my knees are borderline fucked up now.

11. Congratulations!
I'm not on quite the same pace, but I've consciously lost 10 pounds in two months.
All by just eating better (I don't eat out much anymore).
I'm adding exercise to the mix now and this should be fun.

12. Good work, underpants!
:applause: kudos to you and mrs. underpants.

I am in training for a double metric century bike ride on June 2nd. 125 miles, with 8,000ft of climbing. It'll be a Personal Best for me, my longest ride ever in one day.

It's good to have goals. Good luck with your continued training, too!

:hi:
