3. We are addicted to it. Got it on Tivo. Can't wait for tonight's episode.
These guys are truly insane. But so...normal.

And Mike Rowe as the announcer is a huge bonus!

8. We watch that show a lot! Even the reruns!
The power of the sea is truly awesome and it is amazing to watch these guys take it on. Our favorites are Sig Hansen of the Northwestern, and Phil Harris and his two sons of the Cornelia Marie. Sig works his guys hard but he has a wickedly good sense of humor. It is interesting to watch Phil teaching his two sons to be fisherman. We are still waiting to see the new episodes.

16. Oh right, it's Tuesday
I don't see them until tomorrow, but I've been following since season 1. It's some heartbreaking stuff out there, but they know the risks, and they take those risks for the big payoff. Just like any other business where you can earn that much money that fast.

17. my dad loves that show
I caught a few minutes of it once, but I never like just jumping in and watching a show. I hate being lost on the backstories etc. But he was telling me all about it when I called home a few weeks ago, so I decided to get the first season on dvd from Blockbuster online. I should get to it sometime soon. Sounds intriguing.

18. I was totally blown away by the CG rescue swimmer a while back...
Those guys are amazing.

So far, I'm pulling for the Cornelia Marie - having the two sons on board is pretty interesting. Sig is entertaining, but I damn sure wouldn't want to work for him (except that they seem to make shitloads of money on the Northwestern)...
