What store-bought dog foods have NOT been declared unsafe?
I've read that MilkBones are still considered safe, which I'm sure will be a great relief to dogs worldwide; they love those things. But those are snacks, can't put those in the dog bowl for a meal.

My Precious is very happy about that.

2. I think the Delmonte brands
have been recalled voluntarily.

Our dogs eat Alpo Prime Cuts dry and so far so good. Nothing on them that I've seen yet.

3. Only some of the treats and wet dog food...
Not the Kibbles!

Precious would be upset if it were the Kibbles.

5. Yeah, our dogs
love the Meaty Bone biscuit treats from DelMonte. Looks like they're safe there, too.

4. Wellness, the Newman's brand.
I still don't trust these mofos. And yeah, Milkbones are Nabisco. I just read the effen label. :made:

17. I had no idea
I feed my dogs purina. 3 of the cats eat Iams but it is dry and regular. It's scary because it seems like every day there is another recall.

20. Pet Food Recall List and Not-Recalled List
This page contains some general info / links about the pet food recall:

http://www.thepowerhour.com/news3/pet_food_recall.htm

**BUMMER!** The list of foods 'not' on the recall list has a dead link! It worked yesterday.

I did, however, yesterday, save a couple links to good places to get cat food, from the link that is not there anymore. Here they are:

http://www.onlynaturalpet.com/

And from the site above, here is SOME pet recall info:

http://www.onlynaturalpet.com/recall.aspx

Here is another supposedly good site for pet food:

http://www.halopets.com

And one more 'good' kitty treats site:
http://www.rbresources.net/healthy-cat-food.html

_______________________________________________

I haven't got anything online for my cat yet but am thinking about it. He seems fine, and I only had one can of cat food that appeared to be one of the listed ones, but it's slim pickins where I live to just go out and buy something safe. I got some from the health food store but I don't think that's a guarantee, either.

ONE MORE PLACE that claims to have a list of pet foods NOT on the recall list-- but read their disclaimer, too:

http://www.thepetfoodlist.com
