it's much more fun to get smashed on Burns Night. Haggis, poetry and lots of Scotch.

11. I'm one. (raised that way anyways)
left "the faith" to become a Taoist.

Feast days of saints don't smack of Popery. They're an excuse to get drunk and eat food and go to church. Well...maybe not go to church.

10. My Scottish forebear was from Georgia! Tell me about the
"clearances" of the Scots from Scotland by the English. I want to know more. My ancestor, a Campbell, came to this country, to Georgia, in 1790. I'd like to know more about why he came here. Can you help me find out?

Thanks, Cottonbear!

8. I believe the correct term is 'keech'
as in "President Bush is an ape that throws his keech at visitors to the Oval Office"

It's pronounced with a hard ch as in loch
