Need a decent free burning program

To burn mp3's and pictures to disc.

I had a good one, but it's since toasted on me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. try linux

mkisofs and cdrecord

put everything that you want to burn into a directory
then run the command:

mkisofs -frvJL -o /home/mycd.iso /temp/mydirectory/

to find the cd burner run the command:

cdrecord -scanbus

this should give you the device. the device is usually represented by 0,0,0 or maybe 1,0,0

then run this command to burn(provided the burner is on 0,0,0):

cdrecord -v dev=0,0,0 /home/mycd.iso

cdrecord will adjust the speed as needed.

I managed to figure out the problem I was having. Sometimes the simple way is the best way. In other words for me it meant to keep it simple. :P

Ahead Nero Burning ROM....the best burning software I've found so far. Buffer underrun protection, so you don't make coasters...
