wow, neat little album,

i can see it will spend a few weeks in heavy rotation in my trucks CD player

2. i'm a little behind the curve with them
picked up that and 'will the wolf survive' cheap.

'wolf' was unimpressive but 'Kiko' is grabbing me hard.

3. They've gone through many stages in their long career.
You know they were discovered by Dave Alvin, right?

Even their...less impressive...albums have at least a couple gems.

5. Oh yes he is.
I've gotten a chance to see Dave twice live (I've seen Los Lobos twice too). Both put on great shows.
