Why did instrumental songs stop being popular?
They died off in the 80s ... why? :shrug:

3. Some Yo La Tengo song whose title escapes me at the moment
It's on the Genius + Love CD. They hum so I'm not sure if that disqualifies it from being an instrumental.

I love the Edgar Winter Group!!!! Saw 'em live in Memphis years ago, on the "Only Come Out at Night" tour. Dr. John, the Night Tripper, the Right Place Man, was the opening act. What a show!
