I think that's why I'm only able to handle "togetherness" - with anyone - for short periods of time before needing to be left the %^#& alone! Then I'm cool and sociable again. I've found this to be a common trait amongst onlies.

I am one of four but the others seem to have grown up. However, it's nice to be related to three grown-ups that I can borrow money from.

I'm the only kid of my parents, but they were both married previously. So I have two half-brothers who are 10 and 12 years older than me, and a half-sister who graduated from high school a few months before I was born.

27. I'm an only child

and my daughter is an only child - well sort of. My husband has 2 children from his first marriage, both adults when we married and adopted our daughter. But since they don't live with us and aren't mine, except by marriage, I figure my child is an only child.
