I could live in that Universe, except I want to live on Earth, maybe in San Francisco teaching environmental science to over-achieving Star Fleet brats, with frequent field trips to a fully restored Hetch Hetchy Valley, very extensive Central Valley and coastal wetlands, etc.

No dams, no factory farms, no strip malls or box stores, clean air, and you can still walk across the Golden Gate Bridge.

I want to afford a big ass apartment in New York on a barista's salary.

On second thought, let's make it Living Single. Same story. Less pale.

83. American Gothic
Sex, Satan, Redemption, Love, Loss, Strength, Weakness. All taken to extremes. Loved it to death.

I mean come on! How many shows would explictly show an elementary school teacher dripping burning wax onto the Sheriff's chest as foreplay? Or falling in love with someone you hate and know is totally evil? Or show a world in which evil reigns but love triumphs?

Yeah that's where I would live. Where good and evil are such clear choices. And yet that choice takes a distinct act of will to make.

118. Did you Know?
It's canon that The X-Files and Law and Order/ and Homicide: Life on the Streets, are in the same 'verse, whether Dick Wolfe or Chris Carter like it or not? <g>

See episode The X-Files "Unusual Suspects"...with Detective Munch....THE Detective Munch, not just the actor, the character. He was in Homicide; he is in Law and Order and he was in that episode of The X-Files.
