"You must have ACS: Ann Coulter Syndrome"
Line I just heard on Crossing Jordan. Said to a bitchy ME by one of the morgue docs.

1. Was the ME a she-male?

2. Yup.
She got pissed at the other doc for pulling her out of her car when it was carjacked. "You let him steal my car!" "I saved your LIFE!" She was still pissed off even after being fired at and nearly killed. That's when he made the ACS crack.

3. Yeah, bringing a bitchy attitude to a gun fight is not a winning idea
Rock beats scissors, supersonic lead beats sharp tongue.

4. I will say this for her: she's a tough cookie.
Someone just tried to steal her purse, using a baseball bat. She grabbed the bat from him and threatened him (the would-be thief). He ran away.

5. I know a lady who, when somebody drew a gun and asked for her purse, said:
"This is my money and I'm not giving it to you." This, after her husband had quietly handed over his wallet. The thief was stunned -- and walked away. The husband lost his wallet, though.

7. I think the general attitude of the assembled company who heard the story was ...
pretty much along the lines of what krispos said above.

15. I absolutely loved the baseball bat part and the look
on Nigel's face. And when she mentioned her dog being a show dog because he ate human kidneys, I was  She's going to be one of those everybody hates in the beginning, but loves later on. I hate the other woman died too. She was becoming pretty cool in the end there.

16. That bit with the bat was great!
BTW, do you know the name of the actress who plays that character? I recognize her, but can't think of her name.

21. She reminds me of the woman in Silence of the Lambs.
The one who was down in that pit thing and grabbed the dog. I'm not sure if that is her or not though. I tend to confuse lots of actors and actresses with each other. Off topic, sorta, but case in point: I used to get Mark Harmon, Don Johnson, and Kevin Costner confused in my mind. I couldn't tell one from the other until Waterworld and NCIS and I never watched Miami Vice, lol.

14. That was a great clip. Questions:
I saw the episode last night; I haven't seen one in over a year and it looks like the blonde with ACS has replaced Jordan? Is Jordan a cop now or something?

Also, the character who was killed off in the end - a recent addition to the cast, or did I just witness the killing off of a major character?

17. I don't watch every week, but I think I can answer your questions.
The blond is the head ME; Jordan is still an at the morgue.

I was shocked that they killed off Lu. She was a major character. Has been on the show since last year or the year before.

18. Thanks.
I got the sense that she was major but couldn't be sure. Much appreciated.

died.

20. I only "met" her last night, but she seemed like a fun character,
especially the way she told off Woody early on in the episode. When she insisted on going out and Woody insisted on tagging along, I thought perhaps Woody would get shot and it'd look bad for a while but it would bring those two closer. Instead, Lu buys the farm. :(
