He's about ready for me to build a new computer system. It's been a whole month since we had a new box full of stuff to explore.

35. I couldn't figure out what she was staring at so intently...

when I came into the room, then I looked over, and they were facing off. This was about 3 weeks ago. He was so funny! He'd crawl down on the fence post, gaze in at us very intently, flick his tale in annoyance, go back up on the fence, turn around and look again, flick his tail again, then go scurrying off down the fence.

Five minutes later, he was back flicking and ACK ACK ACK-ing at us again. Molly just sat and cocked her head, concentrating on the taste of squirrel friccassee. Then he got pissed and ran off.

..question about your Maine coon? How many lbs is he? They said my Pumpkin is too small to be a Maine coon, but the more pics I see of them, the more I wonder if they could have been wrong.

I'd guess about 8 - 10 lbs tops. His brother is a little smaller though.

Wonder why they assumed, at the vet's office, that Pumpkin is not then? She is 11 lbs...and fairly long (but she has short front legs):

she's got the mane, but her face, legs & tail are not quite right. But for certain I'd say part coon. Do her ears have the tuft of pointy fur at the top? I can't tell from the pic.

45. Definitely some Maine Coon ancestry

I've had Maine Coon mixes my whole life. They are awesome cats. Check the bottom of Pumpkin's feet for the "toe spikes" (long, ridiculous tufts of fur on her feet between her pads). Absolutely my favorite Maine Coon trait. My Misty's toe spikes are a good inch long on her back feet. Hilarious!
