Folk music fans, have you heard this?
I feel like I've died and gone to folk heaven!

I found this internet broadcast that's terrific.

http://www.folkalley.com

They just played some Kate Bush, John Hartford, Stan Rogers, and Bill Staines among others. It's been wonderful.

It's a radio station from Kent State.

1. Hi, MaineDem --
-- I sure like your list of songwriters there -- Stan Rogers, Bill Staines, John Hartford, etc. Just a great list.

2. Stan Rogers was so great.
Have several of his CDs. What a sad story that he died so damned young.

3. Oh, yes. I have been listening to Jim Blum since the 1980s
I have lived in the WKSU listening area most of my life. Jim always manages to mix in a few protest songs. I think that he plays the best music broadcast anywhere. He is broadcast on weekend nights here.

what a great station. I've got some friends who've done some shows from that station. Have you ever heard of the Museum of Mankind?
