4. Bob Dylan's Theme Time Radio Hour.
On XM radio.

They are playing all his "hours" in which he plays DJ.

This hour's theme is divorce. Dylan absolutely cracks me up.

Yeah, the dude has kinda become my mentor, confidant, older brother, etc.

I could do a lot worse, doncha think?:-)

Right now he's playing "Summertime Blues" by Eddie Cochran. One of the great R&R records of all time.

As fas as Dylan, all I have are Highway 61 Revisited and Greatest Hits, but I definitely need to get more of his stuff.

23. Oh, man.
Have you heard any of the tunes on Modern Times? His most recent album?

I think it will become a Dylan classic.

Other must have albums include Blonde on Blonde (from the 60's) and Blood on The Tracks (from the 70's).

And his best acoustic album, IMHO, is The Times They are A Changin'... his third album.

Some of these are now available in remastered, SACD format, if that's important to you.

Yeah, those four, along with Highway 61 would be the core of my Dylan collection.

If you like, I can PM you a link where you can buy CD's for about $6 each. Including all of these, I believe.

45. Little bit of everything. I put iTunes on "random."

I have to do that every now and again or I'll end up listening to only a few things and forget about all the other really great music in my collection.

So I just heard "Foreign Affair" by the Manhattan Transfer, and now it's "Greased Lightning" from the Grease soundtrack.

Well, and my sweet kittie is snoring here right next to me. Hee hee. He's sooo cute.

Good times.

47. Pearl Jam. I'm in a 90's rut, at present.
This song, currently:

"Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town"

I seem to recognize your face.
Haunting familiar, yet I can't seem to place it.
Cannot find the candle of thought to light your name.
Lifetimes are catching up with me.
All these changes taking place.
I wish I'd seen the place but no one's ever taken me.

Hearts and thoughts they fade, fade away. (x2)

I swear I recognize your breath.
Memories, like fingerprints, are slowly raising.
Me you wouldn't recall for I'm not my former.
It's hard when you're stuck upon the shelf.
I changed by not changing at all.
Small town predicts my fate.
Perhaps that's what no one wants to see.
I just want to scream, "Hello."
My god its been so long. Never dreamed you'd return.
But now here you are and here I am.
Hearts and thoughts they fade away.

Hearts and thoughts they fade, fade away. (x2)
Hearts and thoughts they fade away. Yeah.
Hearts and thoughts they fade, fade away. (x3)
Hearts and thoughts they fade...
