I bought some to put on my canker sore and it felt so weird that I decided to put it on my lips. It did not actually feel that neat. I think it will wear off soon. I also think they use benzocaine in some other products that are not for the mouth. It's an oddly familiar feeling. Also, my tongue is itchy.

Although not advertised to work on canker sores, I find it is the most effective thing on the market to numb the pain.

2. rinse your mouth out with hydrgen peroxide

it will get rid of your canker sore very quickly. Toothpastes like Mentadent have hydrogen peroxide in it. Its ok to swish around in your mouth. Its the absolute BEST way to get rid of canker sores.
