Why we should celebrate Bill Clinton:
Any President who could turn this country back around to the peace & prosperity we Americans enjoyed between 1993 and 2000 deserves all the oral sex he can get.

1. I'm torn about my favourite thing about Clinton...
Was it Don't Ask Don't Tell or DMCA? Or maybe media deregulation? Who knows?

2. Question the repugs always ask:
They always say: "Show me one significant accomplishment Bill Clinton made".

A loaded question of course. And had it not come from the supporters of Tom Delay, Rick Santorum etc. etc. the question could have been considered a good one. So I just reply that Bill Clinton helped many people find jobs, created a booming economy, avoided starting two failed wars and survived a costly partisan lynching.

3. One of my least favouite results of Bush's presidency has been...
That people seem to forget that Bill Clinton did some shit that was less than great and that they seem to think the Democrats are going to make everything perfect. People seem to have lost perspective and strive for something that's good enough, rather than actually good.

4. It's so effed up now it'll never be perfect
of course Big Dawg did some less than great shit but his worst day ever was better than anything W could do. I don't think people (least the people I talk to) are expecting the Dems to bring perfection, we just want to be able to see some fucking sunshine on the horizon. It'll take a long time to undo the damage, both domestically and internationally, that that fucktard * has done. The Democrats are offering hope for a way out of the cesspool. It will only SEEM perfect in comparison.
