I've learned a life time of lessons regarding how to be more sensitive to people's feelings in my time at DU.

As for losing friends . . . I don't think actual friends would be so insensitive.

This is a large community, with lots of strangers from all walks of life posting.

I'm sure you probably act and speak much differently around true friends, than you do in public around strangers.
