I read her book (her daughter is on court tv) and it was pretty cool but she's kind of like Dr. Ruth I think, she always tries to get in front of the camera when she can. Did Richards break the law? Can the guy be compensated in a tort or something? Wow.

5. She's an embarassment to the legal profession.

Seriously, she knows very well that her clients have no legal claim for damages. (no therapy bills, loss of work, etc) But she's pushing arbitration to get herself into the news.

I hope Richards pays, but I don't think the audience has much of a claim (IIED? Defamation?). Allred is not helping her clients by leading them to believe they'll get a settlement.

1. He tried to yell down hecklers without being funny.

He ruined his career and added a paragraph to his obituary, but he didn't break the law.
