:) Dinner was a smashing success....Now, to get very drunk. I am beat! But holy crap, it was incredible...I make a mean turkey!! :bounce: My first one! :D

People forget about roast turkey most of the time, but it;s always an easy and cheap meal..

We won;t even eat for 3 or 4 hours, so I have the MESS ahead of me :)

Nothing that hard about turkey, even with all the trimmings, but so very time consuming, and the clean up takes twice as long...they should actually call this Labor Day. :)

my husband's relatives are staying....drum roll please....TWO WEEKS!!! AAAACK!! I think if I run away now, they may not find me until after Christmas!! :crazy:

8. ...and we did our first fried turkey.

It was scary, but delicious! Not oily, but very moist (I did brine it last night, and injected it today, and put a nice roasted fennel and coriander rub on it). My son wanted to try it, so we did it, and it was a success. So glad your dinner was great!
