I had to go to the doctor this morning to have some blood work done and the nurse practictioner student said to me: "Looks like you only come in when you are sick. It's been a while since we've seen you".

Me: after a :wtf: moment. "What? Do you want me to come in when I'm NOT sick just to visit? Well, wouldn't that be like going to the car mechanic for a well car check?

Her: "well, uh, some people, uh, yeah, well, I see your point". :eyes:

God. No wonder I drink. I'm surrounded by people who have been educated well beyond their intelligence.

The worst part about meeting morans in the doctor's office is that often that same person shows up five minutes later with a giant needle or a dose of drugs that they counted out themselves: it's like "wait, I just heard you telling the other staff members that you had trouble tying your shoes this morning, and now you want to stick me with that thing!?" :scared:

15. No kidding. I got the blood drawn by a nurse I hadn't met before

and Holy Christmas my arm STILL hurts.

Then she comes at me with the flu shot and I figure the end is nigh.

However, as someone who once spent three days in a pediatric ward at twenty, I have heard so many moranic things from nurses/doctors. Such as:

Nurse: And this is the toy room over here.
Mom: Um...she's twenty.
Nurse: You're never too old to play!

I was so tempted to reply back with "the only toys I'm into are sex toys and fast cars."
