This week, in demonstrations and lab work, has been with metal complexes, which have the best colours of.... well, anything really. You generally don't see colour like that outside of a rainbow. To have it in a bottle is awesome.

The colleague in #1 told me that he and his partner have bought a restaurant and that next Monday is his last day at our workplace. I will miss him.

In the community bathroom in our dorm, someone vomited in one of the stalls. It had trajectory and had splattered into the walls and into the stalls on either side of it. It didn't get cleaned up for almost a day. Another toilet clogged and there was literally shit on the floor overnight.
