:wtf:

Here we are, trying to win back the Senate, and we are picking apart each other and fighting over silly idiotic things like this? And, anybody else notice how people are coming out of the woodwork just to chime in??

I need another couple of these :wtf: :wtf:

Actually, I think I need something stronger than that...

No wonder Elizabeth doesn't visit DU anymore.

1. That quote seems strange
"She and I are from the same generation. We both went to law school and married other lawyers, but after that we made other choices. I think my choices have made me happier. I think I'm more joyful than she is," Elizabeth Edwards said Thursday.

That's an awkward segue from "we made other choices" to "I think my choices have made me happier." Those sound like separate answers to separate questions.

3. Have you read all of it?
Asked for specific examples of errors, a spokeswoman for Edwards' One America Committee said the magazine's transcript combined answers to two questions into one quote. Also, her comments about being joyous referred to previous experiences and were not meant to be a contemporary comparison, said the spokeswoman, Kim Rubey.

2. Why should that affect your blood pressure at all?
Any nimrod with fingers can post on the internet - it all means exactly nothing. Nothing that is posted on DU or elsewhere is worth a single mm Hg of blood pressure.

So don't explode - flame back or ignore the thread, but rest assured that nothing said there will affect any election or hurt EE's feelings in the slightest...

6. I just hope Elizabeth doesn't look in on here anymore
Edited on Sat Oct-21-06 01:23 AM by KC2
If it affects my health like this, I wouldn't want it to affect hers...especially while she is battling cancer. I wish she's just stay away from the media, all together, right now...since, obviously, they will take advantage of her.

I also get really pissed off when Democrats attack other Democrats. I mean, Jesus Frickin' Christ, with all the other problems we have right now....:wtf:

12. Nobody take the MSM fools seriously anymore.....

They all decided last year that Hillary is the 2008 Democratic nominee and she'll lose to John McCain. In reality, neither of them will be their party's nominee but that doesn't stop Chris Matthews, Candy Crowly or Tim Russert from spewing their "conventional wisdom".

In 2008, I expect John Edwards will face Mitt Romney. Over the last 40 years, I've found "conventional wisdom" to be absolute BULLSHIT!

I'm going to curl up in bed with my Barack Obama book and pretend there really is hope.
