Speaking of potato guns...

Does anyone remember making those cannons for tennis balls?

We didn't have that fancy shmancy store bought stuff when I was a kid. We built our own cannons and WE LIKED IT!

Seriously, anyone ever make those when you were a kid? We would cut the tops and bottoms off of two soda cans (they were heavier metal) and then the top off of one more. Then taped all three together with the can with the bottom still on it on the bottom.

And so on. I won't finish it, because I don't want to be arrested for being a tourist.

2. I made one out of metal plumbing pipe.

It would shoot a tennis ball about 1/4 mile. I miss that thing.
