Yesterday we got a notice saying 'no smoking/loitering/drinking allowed'

Today I see a guy talking with 3 of his friends and they're all smoking in the commons area.

Should I be a nark and inform the landlord?

I am currently blessed with a nice sized duplex from my Grandparents right next to downtown Denver and I pay half the rent that this place would normally be.

I know when my Grandparents die I am going to have to move into an apt. complex. I have lived in them before, but it's been so long. Thanks for reminding me of the bullshit that can happen. When I move, I am going to be so picky!!!!!

On the other hand, I am looking forward to living in the queer ghetto again.

And not to tie in that gaggle with the beer cans and alcohol bottles people've seen, or even the keyed benches... but how will anything get better if nobody responds?

Still, you're all right in that I shouldn't snitch. Somebody else will, or the landlord will see the remains and put out an even nastier announcement.

It just sickens me that people don't obey some simple rules regarding public areas. Especially when the landlord has gone out of his way to have copies of a notice sent out to everybody. The disrespect is sad.

And besides, you can do it anonymously. Do it. Now. I dont' take that shit, it pisses me off. A lot of smokers don't give a shit, they think they can do whatever the fuck they want, every one else and their health be damned, and a lot of people are too wimpy to do anything about it or say anything, even on hospital campuses where it's been banned. Fucking pisses me off.

Or so I can't enjoy the park or common areas of my apartment complex too? I'm all for a smoking outside, but not where I can't enjoy the park areas or sit on my patio. I pay rent here too. I shouldn't have to smell your fumes.

12. I saw a cop fling his cigarette

into the street a few weeks ago. I was about to walk up to him and tell him off. "What are you doing!" "DO you think the world is your ashtray?" But the baggie of pot in my fanny pack shut me up..LOL
