Confess.
I'll go first.

Two or three of you might remember I was ill in April.

I had pneumonia and spent fifteen days in the hospital.

Why, Ptah, why?

For several months I was able to resist my tobacco addiction.

I have not been successful.

What's your confession?

2. I'm sorry Ptah
Not only are you battling an incredible addiction, you're also beating yourself up for not succeeding. Are you up to trying to quit again sometime?

4. Oh, please do stop!
You remind me of my late Uncle. He grew sunflowers, too...and had a similar smile. I'd hate it if you met his fate. Take care of yourself.

My addiction? Sweets. And, I have gained soooo much weight, especially sitting at the computer all the time, I will have more health problems than a smoker if I don't change my own ways!

But I have no secrets, I am pure as the driven snow.

Okay, a small confession: I have a BIG crush on one of the naughty girls from the DU lounge...

15. I've been eating M&M's this week
and chocolate is really bad for me...I'll have to detox soon.

You WILL eventually quit smoking, don't worry. It's just a matter of when, but it WILL happen.

22. similar experience
I was in the hospital in June with Bilateral pneumonia. I quit smoking then and did well until grad school started in late August and my little sis had brain surgery a few weeks later. I only smoke a few a day or sometimes not at all for days on end. Yet, I just can not completely stop. Cigarettes are my worst best friend and I just can't shake the habit completely. My partner, other members of my family, or any of my friends know I am smoking again. They would be so disappointed and my partner said she couldn't take my smoking anymore (since doc said I was that close to dying). So there is my confession.
