Aitch and I bought another small art piece today, and I'm pretty excited about it. This time we got a piece by
Chris Bennett who runs the
Newspace Center for Photography. The piece is a framed tintype triptych of the Fremont Bridge.
Also saw the Center's 2006 juried exhibition, which was incredible but which ends tomorrow. Aitch was pleased to see two beautiful military-themed polaroid photo-emulsion prints in the show by Melissa Immesoete, with whom we both studied oil painting and to whom Aitch had originally taught the photo-emulsion technique.
And I was blown away by the photos of Portlander
Holly Andres whose web site demands thorough exploration.
That's my report. Off to Brad's block party. Stay safe! Take your drugs!
