Poll question: Owners of the original X-Men DVD, did you buy X-Men 1.5?
It's $20, is it worth it?

1. yes but 20 bucks? I paid less in Florida. Look around for a better price.
The damn DVD's cost about a buck to make, for Chissakes. They're as big a rippoff as music CD's.

2. I second that
Hunt around for a better price. Try this:

http://www.dvdpricesearch.com

A database of about a dozen online stores. But to get back to your original question, yes. Bryan Singer said in several interviews that he would have given his input on the first release, but his other projects and the narrowness of Fox's development window aligned to put the kibosh on that, so it's a little different than the usual DVD ripoff. Normally, I would have held off on the first release, but come on, it's the X-Men, fuhcryenoutloud...

3. Couldn't part with my original.
It's signed by both Bryan singer and Stan Lee. :P

I was a guest at Fox's X-Men launch bash at the studio, got treated to some really good food (all 3 meals), saw 2 films (Me, Myself and Irene, Titan AE) in their studio theater, Got a demonstration of the clean up work being done on the Marylin Monroe DVDs (they were upcoming at the time) and took home a free DVD, T-Shirt, Memo Pad, X-Men poster, oh' and a Titan AE DVD for free too

Wonderful day!

4. Unless I'm mistaken...
The "Spider-Man gag" easter egg is NOT on X-Men 1.5, but is on the original, which makes no sense. Wish I still had my copy.
