The very first bottle of liquor I ever bought (from a bootlegger in a dry county when I was 17) was Maker's Mark. My preferred drink, before I quit drinking 10 years ago, was Jim Beam, either straight, or if I was at a bar it was a triple Beam with a splash of coke.
