3. I own about 10 movies which their sole purpose is to make me cry
I'm like Holly Hunter in "Broadcast News" where about once a month I have to shut off everything, watch a really sad movie and bawl my eyes out.

I don't know what it is - but it surely makes me feel alot better in the morning

6. Best Crying Movie: Il Postino (the Postman)
Because you know that in reality the actor died soon after making the movie but so believed in the movie that he made it instead of getting the necessary heart surgery that might have saved his life.

Italy has some of the best weeper movies including "Life is Beautiful" and "Cinema Paradiso"

7. oh yes - Il Postino was beautiful!
And Cinema Paradiso!

Oh yeah - and that reminded me of how much I loved Central Station. Did you ever see that? Holy shit that movie made me cry. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0140888/

I'm adding all these to my netflix queue!!

4. Oh god, it was soooo booooring....
couldn't give a shit about the characters, couldn't give a shit about the "big surprise", some of the cinematography was OK. Too bad it was wasted on such a bad movie.

10. Nah--LynneSin occasionally has a casual attitude towards spelling
Cf. her thread here. It's perfectly fine in a non-formal setting, plus it's rude and unnecessary to point out the errors, but I'm bored and homophonic.

11. I Love Fiennes ! Just saw him in June, on Broadway (of course!)
in "Faith Healer " .

EP? Sat through it once at home, I was medicated though, post surgery.
thus, I don't have to see it ever again.

As for "Beaches" loved the book ! Starts out in Beach Haven, N.J. at the Surflight Summer Theater, the Summer stock theater I attended, every summer growing up in the 60's.

14. Read the novel...
It's completely different and far, far better than the film.
