Holy MOLEY!!!!!!!!
I just got a phone call that will change my life and my son's life.

My son's father ignored him since he was 2. He walked out and wanted no part of us. We had many struggles getting child support (he'd move or change jobs or whatever) so that made life tough. What made life tougher was trying to explain to my son that he had done nothing to deserve this kind of treatment from his father.

My son has 2 half-sisters and a half-brother who don't know him. His older half-sister knows OF him, but has resisted any contact.

However, this beautiful creature has made it possible for Tim to get one last thing from his father: his share in the life insurance.

I just got a call from the life insurance company. It seems Tim is entitled to receive > $70,000 from his father's life insurance policy. Tim's half-sister made sure the company knew that there was a 4th child.

I haven't even yet been able to get a hold of Tim to tell him. (My son never answers the phone.)

I think we can breathe a little easier about school now.

1. When did his father die?
At least in death he did what he didn't do in life, eh? I guess that will be bittersweet for your son.
