...I had prepped some great veggie burgers, and was ready to roll. But as of 9:00 PM, it was still 91 degrees outside, with 90% humidity. So we skipped that idea.

21. Well, I cleaned the three lizard tanks.

I'm quite proud of myself, because not only was it needed, but I managed to do it without having Dr. Gonzo draw blood on me. Sure I had to let him sit outside the tank and watch, then distract him with a ski glove (he attacks the ski glove while I stealthily grab him) to get him back in the tank, but hey I didn't lose any blood. Obviously, he never got the memo that bearded dragons are supposed to be sweet, tame lizards.


I also partially cleaned my room. I think I'm going to reward myself with a cigarette and another beer.

I "own" a verrrry mean male iguana, named Raphael, aged about 5-6 years...He's pure goddamn evil he is. In light of that, he's free-roaming. No cage for that beast! :D

My kid spent the evening at his father's, so I got a little break. The wind picked up outside and the air is almost cool, my sister got me a pizza and hovered over the people at the shop to make sure they didn't put any dairy on it (which was super cool of her considering that she's a junk food omnivore,) really great DUers said nice things about me today and made me smile, and tomorrow I get to talk to the most thoughtful guy in the universe again. Life is good. :D
