What I can't figure out is when being "a guy you could have a beer with" became a desirable quality in a president and so-called leader of the so-called free world. In my lifetime, presidents were held to a higher standard — such as William Jefferson Clinton and James Earl Carter, who were taken to task for the "sin" of being subject to human temptation.

There was a time when a president was someone we looked up to. I guess that doesn't matter anymore.

They claim it's Christian. It seems that I have learned a thing or two from the real Christians on DU. There are the so-called "Christians" who seem to never shut up about moe-ralitay, moe-ralitay, moe-ralitay endlessly and at the same time call for assassinations and justify the murder of any gay person unfortunate enough to cross paths with their followers. These are the people who should be marginalized and called out for being no better than the Taliban. But because shithead is president, they get their say and none of the rest of us do.

Then there are the real Christians who don't seem to judge people. Those would be the Christians of DU and other like minded people. They don't condone violence toward people. They have a hard time with the idea that chimpy is calling this war a "godly" war. There is no such thing, btw. They dont exactly understand why killing kids is supposed to be considered ok in this god awful era we are living in right now.

Meanwhile, children are being blown into billions of pieces and the worst part is, sometimes they are blown to bits and live through it to suffer in agony. Hey, kid, thanks to Amurka, you have no arms or legs and you are a homeless orphan living in a country that is on the verge of civil war now. Smile for the camera and hand Rummy a rose with your teeth and praise him for "freeing" you. This does not compute for the real Christian. The real Christian may even use some choice language to describe this whole concept as utter bullshit if need be.

There seem to be two sets of Christians, the real ones one the one hand and on the other hand that obnoxious pompous ass self righteous bunch of jerkwads that spawned the devil that is Ann Coulter, George Bush and all the other worthless wastes of oxygen associated with this administation we are having to deal with right now. Skin, blood, stem cells, oxygen, and good possibly donatable organs shouldn't be wasted on the second bunch, the Bush worshippers.

I'd rather have a president with a brain who likes a blowjob every now and again any day of the week. At least he did a good job as president. I can just see it now. He was on the phone with big important heads of state and getting his bedknob waxed all the while saving social security and eating a BigMac. All in a day's work for a competent president. What was the fucking problem? I still don't see what the problem was. No kids were blown to bits because of Monica Lewinsky's service to her country. No families were torn apart and left to fend for themselves amidst the rubble that was once their humble home due to Willy boy's free wheeling willy. Meanwhile Bush claims to be the second coming of Christ, claims he's perfect, claims all sorts of other shit, yet he is the most incompetent son of a bitch I have ever seen in my life. And that's saying a lot, because I live amidst people in real life in my hometown who pride themselves on their ignorance and incompetence.

I'm telling ya, Richmond County bigotry, stupidity, ignorance (and there is a difference between the two) has it's own special brand name. I can't make this shit up. These people are that brain damaged. They pride themselves on their willful ignorance. They could learn a thing or two, but no, they are happy to rape women, beat their wives and kids, speak in almost nothing but racial slurs, and pat themselves on the back for being such a good "Christian" all at the same time. Yet, despite all that, they don't hold a candle to the gigantic steaming pile of incompetence and bullshit that the red state voters have unleashed on our country, not just once, but fucking twice. They are that brain damaged. They did that stupid shit twice. You could almost forgive them for falling for him the first time around, but when shit started falling apart and America started going to hell in a handbasket, that dumbass bunch of knuckledraggers went and voted that same exact incompetent team of unevolved promordial ooze from the shallowest end of the gene pool A FUCKING GAIN.

Logic went out the window a long time ago with that bunch, if it ever crossed their path at all to begin with. I say we lock their asses in a cave with Al Quaeda, the Taliban, the neonazis, the KKK, and any preacher who even remotely reminds us of Jerry Falwell or Pat Robertson, and make them stay there until they evolve. We need to start thinking about our future. Do we really want to see the human species devolve unchecked. We could really help the species by tying the hands of those who wanna destroy the country, the species, and our planet. It's time to lock them all up and throw away the key. Leave me in charge of whether or not they are ever allowed out. It would NOT happen. I've got the willpower to keep them in cages they belong in for the rest of their lives if need be. They need to start acting human. They need to learn to be civilized. Until then, we need not claim humanity nor civilization. As long as they are allowed to continue, we will have neither.

I feel a wave starting this time. As cynical as I normally am, this time feels different. I think the tide is turning. I'm riding that mother all the way to the end too. It's time to quit caving and take back our country. No ifs ands or buts about it. It's time to bring the naked boy emperor down off that pedestal his sheep have created for him and wake they whole damn bunch of them up. It's payback time. We must demand justice now.
