dogs love coconuts!
i had gotten some young coconuts from the feria today to drink the "agua de pipa" inside. after i finished one of them i took a machete and broke the coconut in half on the lawn in the yard. my dog got interested in what i had and she picked up one of the coconut halves, carried it away and licked all the white coconut flesh out of it. so i tossed her the other one and she did the same.

13. Well, I got part of the name right!!!!
:blush:

I knew it was something with two bs and ended in a y.

Andy was like that with pets. My sister's dog took to him immediately. But he didn't lay on the floor. He didn't need to lay on the floor with that dog.

I was at my sister's for a cookout last Monday. That dog has a thing for me...my niece kept trying to pet him and every time he walked around, he came to me. My niece was not happy. But, as she said once more than 10 years ago, dogs love me. :D

He's done it for years now. I miss Ray Nordstrand and Norm Pelligrini, though.

14. Careful with the coconut water if you have the flu;
too much can give you diarrhea and dehydrate you even more.

Hope you feel better soon. :hi:

25. i used to get back to miami fairly often......
...hopefully i'll get there this year for a week or so. if i do, i'll come down and visit you.

i miss everglades national park. i used to spend every free minute i had hiking around the south end of the park or biking around the trail at shark valley.

by the way, i read something about agua de pipa a couple years ago. apparently it has incredible medicinal properties. one thing i remember from the article i read was that it's very effective at lowering blood pressure.
