1. I thought it was funny that the guys wrote the songs...

...and had the women singing songs about how awful a break-up is, and then Björn Ulvaeus writes one for himself to sing about how underage girls can't keep themselves away from him.

2. Actually, the did have one tune that was beautiful and sad

"My Love, My Life". I think it was on the Arrival album. I defy anyone to tell me that's not a great song. If it had been in a movie, it would have won an Academy Award(tm).
